That figures. It is because of this mentality that I developed my
presentation which ignores most of the technical stuff and focuses on the
craft. I have been invited to give it in other classes/schools besides
Dawn's (the wife) by instructors that do get it...
Dawn, for her part, has to teach the software (FCP) as part of the
curriculum. What she really tries to teach is how to learn (any) software,
because as we know the tools will change, and we in the industry are always
having to learn new ones.
