[Avid-L2] Re: Should I laugh or cry?

 

When I taught editing at UCLA for a couple of semesters while a teacher was on sabbatical the second semester I failed half the class or I should say I gave half the class and incomplete when they had no project to show at the end of the quarter. That was my last teaching experience in about 1986 so lack of attention to detail is nothing new. Good to hear you're having a better experience and my first semester was a more engaged group who even got to learn how to clean a 3/4 inch head drum as a bonus. Mandatory reading was a section from, "The History of Time Code." There were lots of subtle literary layers in that text. ;-)
