My take on the point John was making was not that specific genres = specific
personality types. It's more about HOW they answer, not WHAT they answer.

So, answering "reggae" along with a few examples of favourite artists,
coupled with a big easy smile, could mean relaxed and easy going. But
answering, "errr... reggae?" could mean indecisive and/or concerned what
others think.

Personally, I think this little 'technique' of John's is an excellent one
and I will most certainly be employing it in future.
