Re: [Avid-L2] Re: FCP chops one frame of Avid exported QT prores 422 HQ clip

John,

Maybe you should just plan to add an extra frame you don't want to the end of the sequence to be exported ;-)

Happy holidays, and I sure hope you get this one figured out.

Best,
Shirley

Put a window burn into my qt prores 422 HQ exports from Avid on a mac sndx 4.0.5

mac os 10.5.6 and all the frames are in the exported qt but as soon as I import

the QT into my FCP project it loses the last frame. I can open the original qt

with QT 10 on my mbp os 10.6.4 and see all the frames but as soon as I import or

just drag the qt into FCP 6.06 the last frame is missing in FCP and any export

from FCP is short the one frame WTF????

frame short. The duration displayed in the FCP browser also shows a duration

one frame short and the time code ends a frame early. Weird.

sure about your duration issue. Have you actually looked at the last frame? Does

it match or is it in fact short? Is it just an issue of how each app counts TC?
