[Avid-L2] Re: XDCAM proxy with hi-res audio in MC5

I think it was two fold. The issue wasn't actually importing the media, but reading the metadata. It was spread though the MXF file, kind of like time code. The PDW-U1 and HD15/1600 have much faster read times over the cameras and previous decks.

With with XDCAM HD 50Mb the metadata is now in a single location, making it faster to read.

This is in addition to the improvements made in Media Composer 3.5.
