[Avid-L2] Re: Upgrade to new OS & v5 gotchas?

Here's what I found on my recent upgrade on a MBP 17 inch from os 10.5.8 or .6 to 10.6.3. I deactivate MCsoft 4.0.5. Carbon Copy Cloned to an external drive. Upgraded OS. At this point I reactivated MCsoft 4.0.5 just to see if it worked and it did. I deactivated again and uninstalled. Installed MC 5 and put in the new Serial number and boom it worked. Today I did find that some of my Microsoft Office apps in the dock had a "?" for an icon but hovering over them would pop up the name, e.g. PowerPoint etc. I went to the applications folder and redragged the apps to the dock and trashed the "?"s and they all seem to be working. Word icon was uneffected but excel, powerpoint, and a couple others turned into "?". I've also seen the my Paragon latest version still works. So far so good.
