[Avid-L2] Re: Red with DEVA

I noticed when I did the transcoding tests over the weekend of a 29.97 sequence to 23.976 that the video ended up with 24F code but the audio stayed with 30F source code. I didn't try anything related to omfs etc but thought this might relate to part of your question. The audio skipped frames like it would in an NTSC 23.976 project but the code itself was 30F. I wonder how that would effect the frame rate on an omf?

We have Symph V5, Z800, NitrisDX. Using AMA for Red files, importing the QT audio from Deva files. I did a quick sequence test, used Autosync, and everything seems fine. Transcoding worked great. But I'm concerned that I'm going to screw this up. I'm using Red for the first time, and Autosync for the first time, and separately recorded audio for the first time, plus recorded at a different frame rate from the video.
