[Avid-L2] Re: Adrenaline AES Audio In And Out

Hi CP

I've spent many years working with Adrenaline boxes and Yamaha 03D mixers (Using ADAT and AES depending on instalation) and there are some serious "funnies" out there (I've never had Avid yet admit the bugs but they do not make logical sense and they certainly do not follow the sensible logic of Meridian!)

OK - In order to work out exactly what is going on can you let me know how you have your setup currently configured.

What do you have selected as the clock reference source on the 02R? (Internal, External, slot etc...)

What do you have selected as the current video reference on the video output tab on the Avid?

What do you have currently selected as the video input on the capture tool on the Avid?

What do you have as physical reference sources (B&B? Wordclock? and What video sources do you have? (decks? external lines? etc? and how are they referenced?)

Cheers
