True, but I'm running stock NVIDIA cards in both my 15" MBP and MP tower without any issue. Color is actually fine on each. There may well be performance issues, but I regularly run ProRes content (1920x1080/29.97) through Color on the tower without a hiccup. It seems to me that Motion is a bit more touchy with NVIDIA than Color. OTOH, Motion doesn't seem terribly stable to me anyway.
