[Avid-L2] Re: Weird new problem-

Sounds similar to the wierdness after capturing SD footage in an HD project and then having the Avid not want to modify the SD clips to progressive when modifying the Sequence to HD. Seem to recall fighting that battle and the solution was to create a new sequence in SD mode cut the existing sequence into that then modify the sequence format after switching back to HD in the project. Without doing that Avid would balk at decomposing the interlaced clips once in HD mode. It's been a while but this sound like a similar under the hood confusion. Just guessing though.
