On a Media Composer Mac system:
Open the MCHelp.html file found in the Macintosh HD/Applications/Avid
Media Composer/Help folder (similar location on the PC).
Your browser (safari for me) will display the MCHelp table of contents

Using Avid Input/Output Hardware
Setting Up Your Software-Only Avid Editing System
Basics Guide
Advanced Guide
Advanced Effects Guide
Avid Color Correction Guide
MetaSync Guide

You can point and click at anything from there, or use the INDEX and
SEARCH tabs to find what you're looking for.
Simply bookmark the main page (or any one you want) and you'll always
have it there, for easy reference.
Another way of doing this is to make an alias of the MCHelp.html file
and put that in your dock, desktop or sidebar.
You can copy the entire Help folder to your laptop and take it
anywhere. It's around 70 MBs.
