Your only only other option for the sequence is EDL which sucks.

For the media, you can use Sebsky tools (if you can find it) to create an ALE for recapture.

If you want to use the existing media, you can't beat the Duck!

Let me say that again, you can't beat the Duck for this workflow!

PS: Digital Service Station can convert the sequence for you.
