Agreed. For one thing, it stays behind the screen. No objects popping out over the audience crap.

I think the biggest breakthrough with this movie had nothing to do with 3D. It was the amazing use of the motion capture / CG work. The actors came through so well that I found myself wondering how the heck they pulled it off. If it wasn't for the big eyes, I would have sworn all the close-ups were actors in makeup. It was that good.

Not like Polar Express where the people just looked freaky.
