[Avid-L2] Re: Mixing 1080p and I

So Greg you would opt for file based when there is tape available? It seems to me most people are transcoding to dnx through ama.
Relying on the ama route as an alternative to capture or consolidating to dnx still seems pretty risky. Of course quick turn around new etc.. is another story. That's what I've learned from the L2. Am I just being overly cautious?
