Yes, M&M changes the speed of the clips so that a second remains a second,
so some pulldown is being added. 23.98 original frames will last 1 second,
spread over 25 frames, and the sequence duration remains the same. That is
NOT what you want for a 25p broadcast master.

A 25p broadcast master would require a speedup of the entire edited sequence
(and sound), where every original frame is still represented by one frame on
the 25p master (which means the whole sequence is being speeded-up, and its
duration is being changed). With Mix & Match, achieving a 1:1 frame
relationship would mean a manual recut, not some tweaking.
