Anyone successful in running MC 2023.8.2 with Sonoma? I have been running MC2020.12 on an older MacPro with Mojave and let the Support Plan for my Perpetual subscription expire in Dec. 2023. Just acquired a MBPro M2 and installed 2023.8.2, which is the last MC version I'm entitled to use. But MC crashes almost immediately during start up every time. The MBPro came with Sequoia, which won't run MC2023, so I downgraded the unit to Sonoma 14.8.1 - which is the version currently available from Apple. Most research I uncovered says 2023.8/2023.8.2 should be compatible with this OS. However, Avid's OS Version Matrix document lists Sonoma 14.0-14.1.x with MC 2023.12. Anyone have experience with this issue? Do I need to find and install the older version of Sonoma? Or purchase a new Avid Subscription to use 2024 or later on this M2? Or stay with what ain't broken on MC2020/Mojave and use the new M2 to learn the new features of DaVinci Resolve?! Thanks for any thoughts!
