I've been told by a few mixers I worked with a lot that the stereo mix they gave me along with 5.1 stems was not LtRt but LoRo. My limited understanding is what you posted Trevor that LtRt was a ProLogic compatible mix and LoRo was not. It annoyed me that in QT Pro 7 it only allowed me to label label the stereo tracks as LtRt, there was no choice in the label assignment pulldown menu for Lo or Ro. I tried to manually be as accurate as I could but sadly never found a way to label the stereo tracks properly. I doubt anyone even looked at the track labels but someday some tech nerd is going to notice them and I will feel a sense of well being for no apparent reason. Of course it's more likely someone will see it and think why did some A-hole bother doing this. ;-)
