we bought a lot of licenses for our Win 10 MC 2020.12 workstations and it's pretty much the worst way we've spent money in a long time.
We avoid using it and when we have to, people have to adhere to a "Workarounds that MUST be used with NBTP 7" document.
Our editors hate it and I can't blame them.
The tool itself is not bad, but the MC integration is unreliable, at least in a Production Management environment. Titles not updating, titles inadvertently updating other unrelated titles, the whole nine yards.
For a time, we tried to work with New Blue to fix issues, but now we have just hunkered down in a fetal position and hope we survive this thing.
Honestly, titling is one of the things that is driving us to switching to Premiere. It's just horrible, especially when you can't use Title Tool / Marquee because you need to deliver UHD or you need to use some of the more complicated languages (like we do Arabic, Hindu, Bengali,...)
So yeah, I wholeheartedly recommend running away as fast as you can.
But maybe someone else has had a better experience, I'd like to meet that person and see if they're real.
Best

Re: [Avid-L2] New Blue Titler Pro 7 user feedback
Kind of off topic, but if you happen to have BCC suite, then BCC Title Studio is a great alternative...we have replaced other titling solutions with it, and it works on all versions of Media Composer.
The initial advanced interface can be intimidating, but in our implementation we have created preset templates for all our slates and for basic title setups like simple L3rds. If you want to get to know BCC title studio advanced interface, it can take advantage of textures, 3d space and lighting.
