Those are good questions, and I don't know all the answers to all of them. For now, group clips are not supported and it's on our backlog for a future release. As for the take numbers and how that works, or if it worked with the previous version of SscriptSync or not but will find out. It might just be a new feature request. But I will let you know.

Please visit the download center and archive any installers of Media Composer pre-dating 2023.8 that you have licenses for.
