[Avid-L2] Avid no longer offers any video hardware?

I just haven't been paying close attention to the Video I/O from Avid since I got my DNxIO many years back.

I'm thinking it's time to look into a Black Magic Ultrastudio to use with my M1 MacBookPro over thunderbolt.  I just looked at Avid.com to see if like in the past they offered an Avid Branded BlackMagic box to potentially insure a better chance of Avid functionality but I see no Video Hardware.  Unless I'm missing something I guess all Avid I/O hardware now comes from 3rd parties.

I realize my DNxIO is a bit long in the tooth but it still seems to work on Resolve and Avid on my mid2012 MacPro Cheesegrater on OS 10.14.6.  I have thought about getting a TB3 to PCI enclosure and using my PCI Card to control the DNxIO through that from the newer MBP but some have said that might be problematic.  I also wondered about a TB3 to TB2 adapter to connect to the DNxIO but was warned those adapters are also iffy.  I have used them to connect TB2 to an TB3 powered Drive enclosure with success.

So the best choice seems to be a Black Magic Ultra Studio that had TB 3/4 to connect to the MBP and I assume using Black Magics Video Desktop drive/interface software instead of the Avid approved Video Desktop software of the past.  Does that make sense?
