Re: [Avid-L2] B-roll is mostly slowmo at 120fps?

Most of the time, the camera is smart enough to stamp the metadata of overcranked clips with both shooting frame rate and playback frame rate. It's up to the operator, but if they've been shooting 23.976p, it will likely stick as the playback rate. So when you link in MC, they should come in that way and play back correctly. However, if they come in as 120 (or 119.88) fps, and want to play back in real time, you can go into Source Settings and tell MC that you want these clips to play back at 23.976 and they will, without conversion.

Going to be getting media shot at 120fps on Sony FS7 and or FX-6.  How does Avid handle over cranked footage these days?  Is this part of the linking dialogue or does an automatic motion adapter get applied?
