What is the procedure, does it differ at all from normal relinking?

Majority of clips are now transcoded. Most original links are gone, but of coursethe camera originals are still here. This has dragged off and on for years, not sure why I chose to trash the links. If I/future online editor need to relink for 1080 delivery,is there 'a way back'?I was told years ago that broadcast in the USwas actually 720. not 1080. Delivery specs for this outletsay 1080. Is this/was this never the case,720 vs. 1080 in the USA?If relink is not possible, then I suppose blowing up to 1080is the only option. Not ideal, but an option.Thanks.Chip Hess
