[Edited Message Follows]
I'm just getting into Baselight Avid plugin. I'm pulling a Digi Key, or whatever that is called in Baselight, I'm not at my system right now, and there is a noisy section in the middle of the key area. I saw that there was an edit Key/Matte button. I have a shape to limit the key to one side of the screen. Could I use the edit key function to draw a shape around the noisy key area to force that area to key through. Back in the GVG switcher days IIRC this was called forced key and you could use a shape wipe to for an area to key through. That's the type of functionality I'm looking for as the problem key area is well inside the outside edges of the key. Can anyone shed some light on how to go about this in Baselight Avid plug in?
I'm keying a background wall color to then shift it's hue from green to red but the problem area with the noisy key lets some of the old color speckle through.
