Well, since I don't use a normal calculator with frame rates, that isn't an issue. My frame rate calculator does a good job of keeping things in order, and using the proper number.

Laugh all you want, but people think that number is a 'speed / framerate'. (I did, long time ago, and it drove me crazy.)
Doing math with 23.98 instead of 23.976 gives you an offset of 0.6 seconds after an hour.
That is too much in our world.
And yes, 23.976 is also not the 'exact' number, but good enough for rock 'n roll.
