That's all good. The doc was shot over a 20 year period so its a mishmash of sources but the original project which I inherited was started at 29.97 so we live with it. Producer is shopping to a few different distributors and this is only one. Will deal with is as we go along. Thanks for all the info!Lou Wirth Productions

And if so, you really should have shot 23.976; there's no cheap but good way to convert 29.97fps to 23.976. Were you to put a gun to my head and demand that I do that, I'd take my finished 29.97 master to my local dub house & run it through their Alchemist Ph.C. box. IIRC it runs about $1000/hr.Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear!Cheers from "heat wave today" Boston,Wilson ChaoOn Mon, Jul 27, 2020 at 2:09 PM Lou Wirth <loutv@mindspring.com> wrote:Im being told by QC that our doc must be 23.97 and can not be 29.97 as HD can not be 29.97. Huh? Most of my HD projects are 29.97.Am I missing something here. My avid project is 1080p/ 29.97ThanksLouLou Wirth Productions
