Last month I sold three of my no-longer-used "classic" Canon FD lenses on eBay, and I received more than I had expected. If you're Ok with giving eBay their cut off the top, as well as PayPal's percentage if you use them too, it's a pretty efficient way to reach a large potential market.
Though it's easy to find horror stories from unsatisfied eBayers, it's a well-greased machine with reasonable protections. In a separate sale last month (of a specialty microphone from an obscure maker) my buyer wanted to renege and cancel the sale, saying he had fallen on hard times after winning the auction. I leaned on him by threatening to post negative feedback, and he somewhat reluctantly paid up so we completed the transaction.
YMMV.

Hi and sorry for the off topic.I was wondering if anyone has a good website to use to sell camera lenses (dslr). I need to unload some lenses as I just don't shoot anymore. If you are a guitar nut, Reverb is the perfect comparison. That is a great marketplace for used guitar equipment. I am trying to find the equivalent for camera gear. Thought this group would most likely be using cams so worth a shot.I know its not an Avid topic but not much else going on these days.ThanksLouLou Wirth Productions
