I literally ordered the Akiito Thunder3 Raid Station earlier today. Should have it tomorrow. It's Thunderbolt 3 and they included the dock in the unit - so display port, usb, ethernet, card reader. I have high hopes.
I didn't need a 4 bay or raid 5 so as a Raid 0/1 unit it seemed to be exactly what I need. Looked at usb 3.1 gen 2 devices, but the cost was about the same for less features.
