Try deleting User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.quicktimeplayer.preferences.plist
See if that gets you anywhere.

I booted Avid then quit upon restart it hangs at Quicktime_OPClient_AVX. Now QT doesn't work and I get the error,"QuickTime Player 7 quit unexpectyiedly while using the libicucore.A.dylip plug-in." Nothing changed all I did was boot Avid then Quit now I can't boot avid and QT won't play .movs. Of course I'm under a deadline.Is there a way to reinstall QT 7Pro.
