In past versions of Avid I've had bins that I moved and closed and when re opened they went back to the previous position. When that happened I found that if I changed the bin layout to one of my other presets then the repo would stick. I have no idea if that would help on the new version but worth a try. Move the bin then change the layout and close and see if it sticks.

Perhaps I'm not totally understanding the term main bin as I've only seen a demo of the new software. I have not used tabbed bins in my work so far.

One of the few things that jumps out at me so far, however, is that the Bins window (which in my case is positioned far over on my left monitor) ALWAYS defaults to full-screen. Looking good so far with a bunch of tweaks needed as Roger indicated. We do know of a few issues with 3rd party such as BCC 12.5 crashes the app on exit and Boris is looking at that now. NewBlue also has some issues with watermarks and such and are on that one as well….

Site setting redo is a must to prevent any abnormal behavior. If anyone needs assistance, just reach out.
