Yep, me too. It used to work great. Then I allowed cc to update and media encoder stopped liking qt reference. At first it was only qt ref that pointed to more than one bit of media, so we did full mixdowns first- then media encoder stopped liking even those, long about 2019? So we started mixing down, followed by exporting same-as-source.... and for anything longer than commercials or promos, that got annoying if.. Exporting mxfop1a is comparatively fast, and media encoder seems to like it. In fact, I've stopped doing mixdowns to prores before exporting same-as-source to get prores! I do an mxf export at whatever avid resolution I'm using - or higher- then use media encoder to make prores QuickTime. Actually slightly faster for
