Avid had removed Media Composer 2018.12.4 from the Download Center on Friday, May 10, 2019 due to an issue related to deletion of clips. Avid Continuation Engineering has corrected the issue and has uploaded Media Composer 2018.12.5 to the Download Center yesterday May 14, 2019 @ 12:00 noon EDT.
Please make sure when posting to the community.avid.com and social media sites, that you:
1. Note that this is a Download Center only release.
2. Media Composer 2018.12.3 is the base install for all future 18.12.x Windows patches. With Media Composer Win patches, the best practice is to remove the previous patch and install the new one. However, when running a newer patch, it will overwrite/upgrade an older patch. The Mac version is a full installer.
