Re: [Avid-L2] Simple File Copy Software for Mac?

Just tried with no success in drilling into the dpx folder.  It sees the entire dpx as a clip.  Very interesting approach.  It looks like it does some form of verification according to the brief tutorial I watched.

Interesting.  I watched a tutorial where he drags folders but I need to select a range of files from a folder.  I'm going to give it a shot and see if I can drill into a folder and select a range.  If my source tower wasn't going offline randomly I wouldn't have to drill down.

I checked the archives and found a thread about cloning software and data recovery software like R-Studio.

I'm dealing with large DPX folders on a mac.  Dragging the folder to copy works fine but I keep getting the source drive prematurely ejecting during the copy process.  Given the sequential nature of the DPX files it's pretty easy to find where to pick up the copy but it's a pain to drag and drop the large number of files.  I don't want to go into terminal and use command line stuff.

Is there a simple front end  software that would give me the ability to shift click on the first file I need in the folder and then go to the end of the folder and shift click to select the last file I need, like I can do on the desktop, then allow me to pick a destination folder and click copy so I don't have to try and drag and drop the files.  It's just slow when I am grabbing a ton of DPX files to drag and if the source drive burps in the process it would be easier to pick up where it left off.  I would assume I would have to manually choose the source files again in the case of a burp.

I'm googling but keep coming up with cloning type software
