I don't use Squeeze much anymore. I always liked it and was sorry to
see Sorenson drop it. If nothing else, they had fantastic user support.
The System Load slider is a good place to start. For trouble shooting,
shove it all the way to the left. You can also switch to whichever
processor you aren't using (GPU-CPU) to see if that helps. I think
Sorenson uses the X264 version of the codec in most of their presets.
Try switching to the Mainconcept H264. Good luck. --J.B.
