IIRC DNxIO will connect with thunderbolt 2 but there were limitations to the performance or was it thunderbolt 2 connected external chassis that limited external GPUs performance?
Has thunderbolt 3 eliminated any restrictions on performance for GPUs or eGPUs that I'm remembering from the past thuderbolt 2 or earlier world?
