Too early to tell.
Avid and Adobe are already adding code to their NLEs that removes dependency from 32 bit QT.
How will you be able to play DNX media, even if it's 64 bit based codec, when there is currently (ever?) support for 3rd party codecs in QTX?
How will Avid and Adobe and FCPX interface with 3rd party codec based media?
DNX has been a god send for PC to Mac workflow since you can't easily generate ProRes in Windows.
