Avid has just discovered that there is an issue with latest BMD release 10.11.3 and non-Avid (BMD) products (like UltraStudio, decklink, etc). Media Composer will crash on launch when running a non-Avid BMD device and Desktop Video v10.11.3.
This does NOT affect the DNxIO, DNxIQ and DNxID Avid branded hardware.
BMD is working on a fix in their upcoming 10.11.4 build
