I recall having some issues with Resolve not liking anything but 1:1 from SD land. I assume I was trying to look at something 20:1 or something that I might have had for a reference .mov or video mixdown. This was a while ago.
Aren't the codecs automatically installed when Avid is installed. I know you can download the free version of Avid Codecs, I forget if that is the PE or LE version or is that no longer the appropriate terminology? I've definitely used SD 35:1 and 20:1 for video references in my sequences. I use them all the time to save space even if they come to me at DNX36 I usually transcode to 35:1 or 20:1 when I bring them into my Avid online project. This still works but I guess the latest Adobe wouldn't like those files.

the Meridian codecs were only for QT 7 I thought. Has anyone pulled them forward into a modern OS?
