A year or so ago I was working on a series running Avid MC 6_5_4 on a mac. I had some unrecognized effects. At the time I had Sapphire 6 but through using the effects summary report set to unrecognized effects I learned that the problem effect was a Sapphire 9 effect S_StripSlide_Transition. There was something in the report that pointed to it coming from Sapphire 9.
Today I pulled up one of those sequences on my system which is not running sapphire 6 with MC 8_9_4. The effects summary with unrecognized effects lists the same effect but nowhere in the report do I see anything that would point to sapphire 9. I'm wondering if something has changed in the effects summary that no longer provides that metadata. It's been a while but I clearly remember the effects summary told me right away that it was a sapphire 9 effect but I don't know how it conveyed that info.
Anybody seen changes in the effects summary reports?
