I recall the Pinnacle board referred to as the Pinnacle Destroyer Board when I started on Symphony. When they got away from the meridian architecture and went to the DNA Adrenaline the performance was sketchy at best but was there a fundamental change in the DVE (3D Warp Effect)? Performance aside I've always felt is was much worse than my old ADO when it came to smooth moves and ease of use.
What was it about the Pinnacle Board that went away other than performance?

Deko was an excellent cg technology way back to its 5K, 10K 20K and 30K days as Dubner, then GVG aquired them. Maestro is available as a plug-in but only good for template work and the company is hard to work with. The DVE from Pinnacle was very good and would have been a great upgrade to the DVE, ah well!
