MacPro 12-core, GPX expansion chassis, 10.11.4 running 8.9.1
I'm beginning to think my mac has unique issues - it won't run 8.9.3. without insta-crashing, which I had attributed to the not-avid-approved dual-GPU setup (I run resolve on the same machine.)
I went into another bay (no extra graphics card, AJA instead of nitris, no extra BMD card sitting around doing nothing, etc., ) and edited away happily with much less crashing.
