I've been teaching QC for Post Houses and Broadcasters (UK) for the last few years.
A lot of changes now we are almost completely file based.
That often involves workflow suggestions and ways to optimise the process to make it more efficient.
In the UK since the DPP work QC is a bit simpler. We only fail for mandatory compliance issues. Most issues are fed back as tech or editorial review and mostly they will be signed off by the Producer rather than being fixed.
Really enjoy delivering training for such a range of clients and I get to experience a wide range of QC departments.
