I mentioned in an earlier thread that my drive chassis at work is aging and the bu power supply is dead. The unit is a FibreNetix E4-1662-F241-B1 and it's a 16TB raid chassis. I'm told the company no longer exists but I see the website which lists Melrose Mac as a vendor. Anybody got any experience with these or a source for a back up power supply? I would think back in 2009 when it was made the power supply was just an off the shelf unit the company used but I'm no manufacturing expert. Sooner or later the main supply is going to die and that won't be pretty.
