Hi guys,
Quick note on a new app available to make your life easier (I hope.)
In short, this is a thing that merges multiple BWF files from multiple recorders into a big new one.
It does not matter if the files start / stop at the same time, or if there are multiple starts / stops in either one of them.
Purpose:
Aimed at assistant editors to prepare for offline.
Making simple (probably stereo) files for offline where audio post can relink to the multichannel files.
All metadata is retained, all track names are retained from all recorders.
You can patch the output channels to your liking.
You can choose if you want all overlapping clips in one file, or have one 'master' recorder that defines start / stop, and have all overlapping files added to that.
Documentation is poor at the moment (although there is a ReadMe with the essentials.)
Drop me a line (private or here) if you want more info. But do toy with the demo!
