If that's the case, (and it seems to be, as far as Google is reliable), would CIneDNG not be the better choice?

But, I would prefer just plain ProRes Std. That is 10 bit, and I very much doubt the cam will provide more than ProRes Std can handle.
(Next best thing is to do a first light correction on the incredible high data rate files and call that the 'original' source clip. I'm always amazed how much trouble people want to get in, where the time spent on getting these things resolved could be spent elsewhere to get a better overall product. But then again, those people also provide me with an income :-)
