[Avid-L2] Exists in MC? or is a [FR]?, or a Plug-in?

Hello Brains of the Avid-L2 . . .

The topic is "Finding the Audio Hot Spots after playing back a sequence / portion of a sequence."

The "DumpMaxPeaks" Console command relates too little/unspecific info when checking a show for hot spots in the audio.

THE GOAL :
Play through a sequence, or section of a sequence, then open what might (in an imaginary world, AFAIK) be called the "Peak Locator Tool." In the tool you would specify your reference level (e.g. -20dB), and also specify the Max. Allowable (e.g. 8dB, so max = -12dB). Then when you hit "OK" a report is generated that tells you, by sequence timecode, all the spots that are registering over -12dB.

Does a feature like that exist in MC (through the Console?), or available in a 3rd Party plug-in? With the programming of the Audio Ducking feature now in the MC code, I wonder if the engineers could program it to pull out the info I describe through the Console (in the short term) or my imagined "Peak Locator Tool" (as a future added feature)? And, I -have- to imagine this feature already exists as a plug-in, but it'd be great to have it native.

Thanks for any thoughts on this!
Enjoy the weekend!

Cheers,

-B
