The whole LOG scam drives me nuts. You can't magically get more information than what the codec can store. If you are claiming you can keep more info in the highlights (Which the eye allegedly can see better) you have to steal it from somewhere, in this case usually the darker areas.What happens when you need to stretch the blacks to get more out of the picture? Too bad sucker. Had you just shot what you wanted you would be happy in the end.This is reminiscent of the days people would bump VHS to 1" thinking it would give them a better picture.
