Re: [Avid-L2] My current Avid support failure

 

I'm assuming this issue is on the PC side.  I know things fall through the cracks with software development but this installer issue is a square one problem and it's the kind of thing that most Avid users aren't versed in how to fix.  Especially the newer users and it's things like this that can sour a user to Avid.  If I can't install it easily and upgrade it easily then I'd find software that was easy if I didn't have a vested need to remain on Avid.

I hope Avid understands that frustrating users, especially the newer ones, might get in the way of all those Executive Bonus Payments that they apparently deserve for delivering a product that can't be installed properly without a work around.
