I for one don't find your question stupid at all. Sure you could have done a google but now several of us are aware that Flames might interpret Time Code in a different way from other apps. If there is an issue it may not be just QT Change.
Not long ago I found that the time code I was adding with QT Change to make my XDCam50 .movs drop frame for network delivery displayed one frame different in QT Pro 7 than it did when ama linked. The network flagged the issue but I don't know what software they were using on their end. You rewrote the app overnight and made it work.
Now I know that there may be other gotchas out there. Not knowing what the Flame issue is I can only suggest that if there are issues related to the time code being off like I found last year maybe make sure they are running the latest version of QT Change.
