[Avid-L2] Source Browser // Disable Media Processing?

Hi All,

I'm working in MC 8.6.5 on Windows and need to link massive amount of files
from network drives using source browser. I'd like to know if there's any
way to tell Source Browser to stop Media Processing in order to improve
Network Drive navigation. As soon as I navigate to a new folder the "Media
Processing" message at the bottom start showing activity and after a few
seconds Metadata from discovered files starts ti appear in the Source
Browser Columns. I'm willing to sacrifice that Metadata for better folder
navigation experience.
For what I've found in the MC Help file, Media Processing shouldn't occur
if "Media Folder Button" (5) is not selected, but that's not what happens
in my experience.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA, Agustin
