Dont love me, but found you something better for you to modify your scrolling with your expert mouse. I was able to modify it so that if you hold down your command key and use your trackball to scroll horizontally in your timeline. Check out this link and download the software!
It truly is a goldmine app.

I didn't know this feature was even available. This is something I miss from other NLEs. But I don't see how to do it. I use a trackball—Kensington Expert Mouse. Does anyone know a way to use its scroll wheel to do this?
